Our Infrastructure

HLCM Group operates its own Trimble VRS (Virtual Reference Station) Network, consisting of 8 CORS stations across Puerto Rico, all registered with the U.S. National Geodetic Survey (NOAA/NGS).
This proprietary network ensures centimeter-level accuracy, continuity, and reliability for GNSS users throughout the region — a unique advantage in the Caribbean.

Our Team

Meet the Team Behind the Technology.

Héctor M. Sanabria Valentín – BSc, PS – Land Surveyor | President

Héctor has over 40 years’ experience in the surveying field and is a pioneer of GPS technology in Puerto Rico. He has a bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences. Héctor has supervised the installation of 10 CORS and determined coordinates for this CORS using various processing methods such as OPUS and Trimble Business Center. Héctor has also addressed several professional seminars in the proper use of OPUS. He has been awarded several times as Surveyor of the year and for Distinguished Surveying Work in Puerto Rico. Héctor has also worked pro-bono with the US National Geodetic Survey in the establishment of the Ground Control for the Puerto Rico Vertical Datum.

Luis S. Berrios Montes – BSc, PS – Agrimensor | Vicepresidente

Luis has more than 40 years of experience in the field of surveying and holds a bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Cartography. He has served as President of the Association of Surveyors of Puerto Rico and as Vice President of the Puerto Rico College of Engineers and Surveyors (CIAPR).

Carlos E. Sanabria Seda – BA, MPA – Tesorero | Director de Operaciones

Carlos has worked on the implementation of new technologies within the organization, such as the GNSS VRS Network, reference stations (CORS), and aerial imagery. He also has extensive knowledge in processing software and field software, as well as in the use of GPS in RTK, PPK, and static modes. Carlos oversees the organization as the Director of Operations.

Leomar Berrios Barreto – BSc, SIT | Agrimensor y Especialista en Reparación

Leomar has more than 12 years of experience in the field of surveying and office work. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Cartography. Leomar oversees repair services and provides additional support in training and aerial imagery capture.

Gary S. Potts – BSc, MSc | Especialista en Teledetección y LiDAR

Gary holds a master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Image Processing and has more than 20 years of experience working with Remote Sensing and GIS. He previously worked for the USDA Forest Service at the GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory of the International Institute of Tropical Forestry, where he processed, analyzed, and classified satellite imagery, aerial photography, and LiDAR data.

Gary joined HLCM GROUP in 2021 to support the aerial imagery division and assist with training in UAVs, photogrammetry, and LiDAR data collection/processing. He also provides support in web, social media, marketing, and sales.

Gladimar Feliciano | Asistente Administrativa

Gladimar joined HLCM Group in August 2023. She brings experience in customer service and accounting from previous positions at Sam’s Club and Walmart. Gladimar provides essential support in customer service, accounting, shipping, and the overall logistics and operations of the company.
